Meet Ronnie and Rusty. They let us tag along with them to their amazing Pomona, CA wedding last week! Since we first met them they had talked up the ground of the college campus where they met and were getting married. When we arrived, all of that talk proved to be 100% true. It was gorgeous!! The icing on the cake was most definitely R&R. Not only because we love duo’s whose names start with R BUT also because they are so awesome to be around (and they look fabulous together!). See if you can tell that the college campus was under construction. Ronnie arrived a few days before to find out that they had been under construction and there was green construction fencing everywhere. Any bride’s nightmare. We let her know that she need not be worried – we worked our magic skills – you won’t see any ugly green fencing here! – Enjoy!
Ronnie had very sentimental details such as the locket around her bouquet with a photo of her dad who passed away several years ago. Doesn’t she look amazing in that dress?!
Ronnie gave bracelets to each of her bridesmaids with their first initial imprinted on it.
Their rings are so unique. Loved them.
Getting the veil put in place. These are the last few moments before walking down the aisle.
Found these purple flowers falling from the trees to tie into Ronnie’s colors of purple. Check out Rusty’s socks!
Ronnie gave her brother, Brett, custom cufflinks that read, “TEAM REBAL,” which is Ronnie’s maiden name. Thought this was a nice touch.
Ronnie’s brother walked her down the aisle.
Lots of laughing with these two. Rusty is super animated… all the time. I love when our couples aren’t afraid to let loose a little… even during what is typically a serious setting such as a ceremony.
They snuck away for a moment right after the ceremony.
Fabulous, right?!
Apparently, this huge tree is sort of an iconic landmark at the college, which means it was something we couldn’t not take a photo by.
Loved the HUGE chocolate bar customized with their names on it! Ronnie is all about the sugar!
Their toasts included all of the family cousins singing “We’ve Only Just Begun.” They did a killer job!
R&R opted out of the traditional cake and went with the ultra sugary option of Krispy Kreme Donuts!! Complete with a smash in the face!
The rest of the night was dancing, dancing, dancing. We had a couple of the groomsmen walk off with our Photobooth props like the clown nose and the stick on mustaches. Love it!
Another amazing wedding with an amazing couple. Congrats to you both!
