Canyon Lake was the location for Christa & Matt’s Trash the Dress session, and what a location it was! Desert, lake, canyons and one beautiful couple. As Phoenix wedding photographers we usually only work with couples who have booked us for their wedding, but Chris and Matt were different. Christa contacted us via facebook asking if we could do their Canyon Lake trash the dress session because they were celebrating their 5 year anniversary and weren’t able to invest in their dream wedding photographer on their wedding day. They got married in Wisconsin surrounded by family and friends but moved to Phoenix because they hate the cold. So they packed up and headed west landing here, in Phoenix. This trash the dress session was the first time we met them so this was the conversation we had upon arrival….
R2: ” So how did you hear about us?”
Chris: “We googled trash the dress phoenix and saw your images and knew we needed to contact you.”
R2: ” That’s awesome! We are so glad you found us.”
Chris: “I’m really glad it all worked out, I was kind of skeptical. Finding someone online is kind of scary and we are glad you guys are actual real people and showed up.”
HAHA! Best convo ever while we are getting ready to photograph an incredible couple. Now, go and enjoy their images!
Matt was a little hesitant to actually get in the water but these turned out to be some of their favorite photos from the session.
The above photo is one of R2’s favorites from the session. These two look amazing! We had so much fun trashing Christa & Matt at Canyon Lake. Hope we get to see these two again in the future.
