Jen & Bobby’s urban engagement session in downtown Phoenix blew our photography minds! We thrive on this edgy, dirty, architectural type of vibe. I remember talking to Jen about how she wanted her photos from her engagement session to look and she left it all up to us. I asked her several times if our vision was too grungy for her…..nope! So the day of their phoenix engagement session, I was slightly nervous. We started in a beautiful spot to get them warmed up and have some nature present, but as soon as we hit the streets it was all grunge from there. We even nicknamed an alley we took them in Heroin alley. It was pretty gross. But something about their attitude, clothing & personalities rocked this location. Oh and I forgot to mention it was FREEZING the entire shoot. Not like back east freezing but in the 40’s. And for Phoenix, that’s pretty intense. We hope J & B’s urban photography session makes you feel like you were there, in the moment R2 style.
