We had the chance to rock out as Minneapolis engagement photographers for the day. We met Tara by no fluke…in fact we all agree it was Fate!  They live in Minneapolis, MN but planning to get married in Phoenix, AZ for their destination wedding. It just so happens that we love to travel and were all over being their Minneapolis engagement photographers as well as their Phoenix wedding photographers. The best of both worlds if you ask us!

Tara, a photographer in her own right wanted Phoenix wedding photographers that were out of the ordinary.  She wanted something that would match her style, personality & vision for her wedding day.  And then she found us, The R2 Studio….and it was like True Love!  Yep, that’s right.  An incredible friendship has been created and we are so glad that she and Ray have become not only a part of The R2 Family, but personal friends of ours (Robin & Renee).

Tara flew us out to the amazing state of Minnesota where we shot their Minneapolis Engagement photos R2 style.  Downtown Minneapolis is crazy amazing!  In fact, we have talked seriously about adding this area to our permanent list of areas we shoot.  It is like a kid in a candy store….R2 with architecture, dirt, old buildings falling apart, a huge cite with skyline….you get the picture!  Anyways, here is Tara & Ray’s super urban and crazy cool E-Sesh….ENJOY!

Tara & Ray chose their first location to be in a bar.  Okay not a bar, a “tap room”.  No food, just beer-made in the room next door.  We loved this setting and it fit them perfectly!

This next location was an R2 spot.  In fact-Tara had a list of places she wanted to shoot and we said “okay as long as you let us choose one spot of our own.” And Ta-da…look how freakin’ cool this is!  Oh and the next spot is ours too…we got a little greedy.

Okay…this seriously happened. thanks ray for locking the keys in the trunk.  It made for good pics right?  We all went with the flow and have a great story to tell

This location was our last….after a pit stop for lunch (at an amazing Thai restaurant), getting our keys locked in the car, dodging Geese poop, and feet that were killing Tara we headed down into the boiler room of their loft apartments…..cool right?

That’s a wrap!  Can’t wait for 03.03.13-The day we get to shoot their wedding!  Woohoo!
