As Phoenix wedding photographers, we are taken to so many amazing venues in the greater Phoenix area and beyond. Because Phoenix, and Arizona in general, tends to be a destination wedding location, the area is saturated with so many awesome venue options. Last weekend Heather and Adam were married at Gainey Ranch Golf Club and man was it absolutely stunning! Not only was the venue amazing, but H & A’s families were so warm and kind, The bridal party was full of life and Heather & Adam were so beautiful. Heather became a self proclaimed “Lord of the Rings Nerd” once she met Adam….so she DIY’ed this garter and surprised him with it during the garter toss.

The most unique first dance we have photographed. They started by swooning their audience with a slow, choreographed dance. Then the DJ scratched the record and the music switched into “what I like about you” at which point they broke into this hand clapping, jumping, swinging, super fun (also choreographed) dance all over the dance floor. Love the shots Robin captured of this moment!
Heather’s mom gave us a heads up on this toast. She was so nervous to talk in front of the crowd and let the emotions of the day get the best of her. So instead, she rapped her toast. She had everyone busting up laughing. It was amazing!….Great moment.
Everyone got their Gangnam Style on. Go heather…go Heather…go go go Heather.
A little Bon Jovi, Livin’ on a Prayer, is always great in getting the whole crowd singing along. “Whoaaa ohhh!”
