We were SO excited for Cassie and Tom’s wedding at The Sanctuary – Casa Montaña. We did not have the opportunity to meet Cassie and Tom prior to their wedding day party because they live in Dallas, TX. That being said, Cassie is just as fast with email as we are and she has become one of our avid Facebook stalkers (we love stalkers – social media stalkers, that is) so, we felt like we really knew her by the time their wedding day came around. Every time she called me she would say, “Hi Robin, this is Cassie from Dallas.” So, that is what Renee and I began to call her. You have to say that with a sweet little Texas accent. She has this soft, tiny little voice, which totally makes sense being that she is barely 5 feet tall. After finally meeting her, I realized that she is one of those people that you just can’t hug enough or hang around with too much because you feel great when you’re with her! She is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. Couldn’t hurt a fly! However, on the wedding day, we were lucky enough to see another side of Cassie that we hadn’t experienced. Right before Cassie walked down the aisle she had a rush of nerves. I explained that they can’t start without her, which calmed her down, and that she should be excited. “You’re getting married!” I said. As I turned to walk out the door she turned to her girls and said, “That’s right! I’M GETTING MARRIED BITCHES!!” I busted up laughing! Now, Renee and I are NOT cussers, if you didn’t know but, most everyone we hang out with does drop the occasion F-bomb, etc. We found out on Tuesday (Cassie & Tom’s wedding) that the F-bomb is something that sweet little Cassie is VERY familiar with. In fact, she said plenty of things throughout the evening that really were hilarious, which only aided in Renee and I enjoying their celebration that much more.
I have gone on and on about Cassie but let’s not forget about Tom! This was also our first time meeting and it was easy to see what these two love so much about each other. Tom really just adores Cassie and I would imagine he would do just about anything for her. Their wedding was so intimate and special. Their closest friends and family made the trip out to AZ, some all the way from NYC! The views from the house they rented at The Sanctuary were breathtaking! The details that Cassie and Tom put together to make their day unique and special were absolutely gorgeous! From start to finish it was an incredible day and we are so excited to share these photos with our R2 Peeps!
