Alright here’s the scoop! As Phoenix wedding photographers, we understand the importance of memories. Especially memories from such a momentous occasion such as a wedding. I (Renee) want to hire a California wedding videographer, particularly one who is LGBT friendly! Robin…wants one too, but is all worried about the “wedding budget”. Can all of you R2 brides who have heard her little talk about memories…getting what you pay for…this is an investment yada yada…please just give her a taste of her own medicine! Gently!

Here is why we want a California wedding videographer:
1. It’s really emotional to see your wedding day play out with words, reactions and music. You can’t capture ALL of that through photos only.
2. Since Robin’s family has made it pretty clear that they will not be there, we are crossing our fingers, one day, their ideals about gay marriage and marriage equality will change and this will be the way we can show them our day!
3. We found a California wedding videographer we LOVE and think they will be the most amazing fit for our epic R2 wedding…..

I say go for it! We just had a friend video our wedding, but we watch it almost every year on our anniversary and get emotional all over again. I’m so happy we have it on video. I wish I would have hired a professional!

J and I got a DVD of our ceremony as part of our resort wedding package (nothing fancy), and I LOVE IT! It captures all the moments I want to remember (even having R2 there, snapping away), and it’s actually really cool to see the “real live” versions of some of our favorite photos. We’ve watched it several times and it makes me get butterflies in my stomach every time! I would definitely recommend it!
