Cami & Will rocked their R2 E-Session in every way possible. As Phoenix Engagement photographers we usually let our couples have lots of input on their engagement session. When Cami & Will told us they wanted to do Mill Ave, the Tempe Lake Bridge & the surrounding area. We knew upon hearing this idea that we would be a match of 4 made in Heaven. You see, we have photographed this area before and never want to photograph the same place the same way twice…..so with all of our combined input, we decided on a more industrial/architectural vibe. I think when you check out the photos below you will not even feel as though we are in AZ. In fact, after the shoot during our drive to get drinks with these two, Robin couldn’t stop talking about how much this felt like a different city and how inspired she was. I (Renee) love the natural feel so here is my version.
We have tried to shoot in this specific location before but it has always been fenced off. Well this time it wasn’t and we snapped some amazing images from this old run down flour mill.
We wouldn’t be R2 if we didn’t rock some night shots….our assistant, Mychael, almost got run over as he held the light in the middle of the road. He swears it was all worth it. After seeing these night time street shots, we believe it was all worth it as well!
Cami & Will are officially initiated into The R2 Family so give them a big hug and chat it up with them at our R2 prom. They are going! We can’t wait for their amazing Palomar rooftop wedding next February!
