Robin & I were so excited when Ellie & Krista asked for us to be their Phoenix Same-Sex wedding photographers! If you know us well, you know we love photographing our LGBT couples! We are a safe place for all varieties of people and we welcome all into our little R2 family! When they told us the theme they wanted for their E-Sesh we were in heaven! We love concept driven engagement session and there’s was perfect! Ellie has roots in Chicago….brrrrrr. In fact her family still lives there and she misses the cold like crazy. So this theme of “Christmas in the dessert” was a joke to her family back east. However, when it came time to photograph their Phoenix Desert engagement session we were the ones freezing. As I remember it, Phoenix was having one of the coldest days in history and it was in the 30’s during our session. WHAT?!? But the magic that happened you will see below….freezing and all!
